Papillex+ for HPV follow-up: what is in it and what it cannot do

Papillex+ is a daily supplement with green tea extract, active folate and B12. What each ingredient does, what the evidence does and does not show, and who should check first.

Papillex+ is a daily supplement for people who want extra nutritional support alongside their regular HPV follow-up. It contains green tea extract, active folate and vitamin B12. See Papillex+ at CAREPLUS.

In short: Papillex+ is a supplement, not a treatment. Its ingredients support normal body functions. There is no proof it clears HPV, and it should never replace screening or medical advice.

What is in it

  • Green tea extract (EGCG): a group of plant compounds called catechins. Some laboratory and small clinical studies have looked at green tea compounds on the skin, where they are used in a prescription ointment for genital warts. Taken by mouth as a supplement, the evidence on HPV is limited.
  • Active folate (5-MTHF): the form of folate the body can use directly. Folate is needed for normal cell division and is important before and during pregnancy.
  • Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12): needed for healthy blood and nerves. Low B12 is common, especially with some diets or medicines.
  • Hyaluronic acid: a substance found naturally in skin and connective tissue.

What the evidence does and does not show

Good nutrition supports the immune system in general, but no supplement has been shown to clear an HPV infection. Any benefit of green tea compounds for HPV is still being studied. Treat Papillex+ as support, not a cure.

Who should check with a doctor first

  • people with liver disease, or liver problems after using other supplements
  • people taking medicines that affect the liver
  • pregnant or breastfeeding women

High doses of green tea extract have been linked to liver injury, so do not take more than the label says.

Papillex+ and Papilocare

Some people use Papilocare and Papillex+ together. Tell your doctor about every product you take, so they can check them against your health. Read about Papilocare.
