Overview

Active ingredientTretinoin 0.25 mg/g + erythromycin 40 mg/g

E-Sol Gel (also sold as Efasol Gel) treats acne. It combines two medicines:

  • Tretinoin 0.025% (0.25 mg per gram), a retinoid that unblocks pores and helps prevent new spots
  • Erythromycin 4% (40 mg per gram), an antibiotic that reduces acne bacteria and inflammation

10 g tube.

How to take

  • For external use only. Wash and dry the affected skin first.
  • Apply a thin layer to the affected areas once or twice a day, or as your doctor advises, and massage in gently.
  • Wash your hands before and after. Keep away from eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Use sunscreen: your skin becomes more sensitive to the sun.

Good to know: do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Mild redness, dryness or peeling is common at first.
