Channa striatus extract is rich in protein, amino acids and fatty acids. CS extract has anti- inflammatory effect that is attributed to reduction of IgE where it is an important immunoglobulin responsible for cascade of mediating an allergic immune response. It binds to the mast cells and basophils through the heterotramer link, which has high affinity for IgE receptor, FceR1. Allergens initiate a cascade of events by cross linking IgE molecules bound to FceR1 receptor. These events leads to immediate hypersensitivity allergic response and release of mediators like histamines and synthesis of proinflammatory mediators, cytokines and chemokines.

Nigella Sativa extract contain major amino acids, significant level of iron, copper, zinz, phosphorus, calcium, thiamin, niacin, pyridoxine and folic acid. Has strong antioxidant properties to reduce plasma  Malondialdehyde (MDA) level with increased activity in erythrocyte gluthathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and superoxide dismutase. Has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that blocks thromboxane B2 and leukotriene by blocking both cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzymes. Has antimicrobial activity that has significant bactericidal activity against gram positive cocci S.aureus and S.epidermidis. Coscinium Blumeanum contains palmatine, berberine, jatrorrhizine and triacontanyl caffeate. The antioxidant activity of triacontanyl caffeate,palmatine, berberine and jatrorrhizine  contains flavonoids and polyphenols that able to reduce the free radical DPPH.
